Michael E. Byczek

Michael E. Byczek is a lifelong Chicago resident. He is the fifth generation born and raised in the city with roots dating back to an early settler family in 1835.

Michael has 15 years of professional experience in computer software and hardware. His background consists of a degree in computer and information science with specialized training in electrical and computer engineering. This was combined with eight I.T. certifications as a system administrator for Linux and Mac OS X awarded by Apple, CompTIA, and the Linux Practicing Institute (LPIC).

Skills as a software engineer include data analytics, websites, video editing, database administration, mobile apps (iOS, Mac OS X, Android, and Windows), network infrastructure, wireless configuration, and generalized software development.

A special area of focus is building software tools that solve real problems through comprehensive analysis of translating business challenges into software components, such as using data analytics to generate revenue, attract new customers, and stay competitive.

His accomplishments have spanned numerous programming languages, database platforms, operating systems, business software (such as spreadsheets, word processing, and multimedia editors), and social media.

Michael has 10 years experience as a licensed Illinois attorney. He combined a computer hardware and software background with a law degree to assist clients with the technical aspects of protecting their intellectual property (patents, trademarks, and copyrights).

He personally develops the software used in his legal practice, such as analysis of all real estate in particular Chicago neighborhoods to compare properties for lack of tax assessment uniformity.

Specific databases for patent, trademark, and copyright registrations are also maintained to evaluate technological trends and to better assist clients with similar applications and research.

Michael also produced top-ranked mobile apps for intellectual property that were consistently the top titles for those legal topics along with PDF generators for users to print their own will or legal documents through a smartphone or tablet.

Managing Real Estate Broker

Michael has 14 years experience as a real estate broker and is currently licensed as a broker manager with the State of Illinois.

He has combined a background in law and technology to work with sellers or buyers as a broker and with homeowners as their legal representative.

Sellers benefit from a dedicated online presence to market every square inch of a property. This includes photographs, videos, social media, websites with personalized domain names, neighborhood data, DVD presentations, and Internet marketing techniques to attract prospective buyers.

Buyers benefit from direct access to information they need to make informed decisions about a property. This includes data analysis of homes for sale and comparable properties before making an offer.
